VMI was shooting like they had the Hand of God with them. I don't care who you are...you shoot lights out like that, you can beat anybody on any given night. Case in point: Georgetown vs. Villanova, '85 National Championship. 'Nova shot 78 percent that night.

it's not like VMI's shooting is out of the ordinary, that's the FIRST thing that they should have noticed...i mean, they've been on the top of PPG in the nation for years now

they consistently score 100+ night after night, how did you think they did that? other teams just like giving them lay-ups?

it's a bad loss, period...they'll be better no doubt, but let's not make excuses for things that were known coming into the game

Uh, bad loss, I am aware of that. Excuses? Sorry, but no. If they scored 100 points or not, there were a handful of blown defensive trips down the court that resulted in layups for VMI, most notably, 2 in the last few minutes of the game. Plus, 20+ KY turnovers did not help...not excuses, facts.
